At the forefront of Brazier Scaffolding is our team of employees, and as such, we place the most significant emphasis on ensuring everyone goes home safe & healthy every day. That's why we're proud to announce that we've recently received ISO 45001 certification, the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems.

ISO 45001 is a powerful tool that helps organizations like ours to ensure the safety of our employees, contractors, and visitors. By implementing this standard, we've identified potential risks and hazards and taken proactive steps to prevent them from occurring.

Not only does ISO 45001 help us keep our team safe, but it also benefits our clients by assuring them that we're committed to delivering projects to the highest safety standards.

This gives them peace of mind knowing that we take our responsibilities seriously and are dedicated to providing quality service.

Receiving ISO 45001 certification is a significant achievement for us at Brazier Scaffolding, and we take great pride in it. It's a testament to our commitment to safety, and we believe that it sets us apart from our competitors.

We're confident that this certification will help us continue to grow and strengthen our relationships with our clients. We're committed to maintaining the highest safety standards in everything we do, and we look forward to demonstrating our commitment to safety on every project we undertake.

We’re proud of our safety record.

Safety is more than a buzzword at Brazier Scaffolding. We take workplace safety seriously, and we believe our safety record is second to none.

A key member of the Brazier team is our full-time health and safety coordinator, who is responsible for monitoring our workplace practices and providing ongoing staff training.

We have also set rigorous safety training standards for all our Scaffolders. These standards include a safety induction programme for all staff before they are allowed to set foot on any customer worksite. In addition, all Brazier employees undertake periodic safety training that is designed to both evaluate our current safety standards and ensure our employees are familiar with the latest workplace safety practices.

Brazier Scaffolding Ltd currently employs a large base staff. All our Scaffolders and riggers are experienced in all facets of scaffolding and rigging. All staff are given regular tuition in all aspects of any changes in the scaffolding industry.

Fortnightly toolbox meetings with all staff are compulsory and their input into this is a benefit to the company and our clients.

Brazier Scaffolding Ltd is New Zealand Immigration Service Accredited to help our cause due to an industry shortage of qualified Scaffolders in our industry. This has been very effective for us.

Brazier Scaffolding Ltd was the first company in the South Island to implement the Aculog Scaffold Safety Management System.

Our group of companies are members of the Scaffolding and Rigging New Zealand Association to whom we were a founding member.

Our focus on safety reflects not only our concern for the safety of Brazier employees but also for the safety of everyone on a work site that uses our scaffolding and propping equipment. That is why we ensure we have the right ingredients for safe scaffolding or propping set-up: well-trained competent Scaffolders, quality equipment and materials, and a management team that is committed to making the workplace as safe as possible. That’s the Brazier way.

Setting the standard in scaffolding since 1973.
